After introducing the KOSTAL family-owned company by means of a short presentation, we concentrated on a career in marketing. What is marketing? What tasks does marketing involve? By answering questions like these, we were able to explain more about the job to our visitors.
Using a real-life example, they could try their hand at a task typical of marketing and collect together their ideas in groups. Then their results were combined and presented to the other groups. This produced lots of very different and creative potential solutions, some of which even inspired us to look at new ideas.
We have been sponsoring the management study group organised by the SIHK (South Westphalian Chamber of Commerce and Industry) since 2014 and every year we look forward to providing students with a better insight into our company and of course a career in marketing. The next round starts up again in late summer and we look forward to again helping lots of interested school pupils make future career decisions.
